3 Marketplace Transactions

Travel Advisor Marketplace is a venue that connects buyers and sellers of travel-industry resources. To complete a transaction, we share the information necessary to fulfill it with the seller of the product you purchase, which may include your name, email address, and order details.

Sellers are independent businesses and act as separate controllers of the buyer information they receive. They are responsible for using that information only to fulfill the transaction and provide related customer service, and for handling it in accordance with applicable law. We are not responsible for a seller’s independent privacy practices.

4 How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described in this Policy, including with:

• Sellers, to the limited extent needed to complete and support a transaction you make;
• Service providers and vendors who perform services for us — such as payment processing, cloud hosting, email delivery, and analytics — under contracts that limit their use of your information;
• Professional advisors, such as our lawyers, accountants, and auditors, where reasonably necessary;
• Authorities or other parties when we believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, the public, or the Marketplace;
• A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to the protections of this Policy.

We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

5 Payment Processing

Payments and payouts are handled by trusted third-party payment providers. When you make a purchase or set up a payment or payout method, your payment details are collected and processed by that provider. We do not store complete payment card numbers on our servers; we retain only limited information such as a card brand and the last four digits to identify a saved method.

Your use of a payment provider is also governed by that provider’s own privacy policy and terms. We encourage you to review them to understand how your payment information is handled.

6 Taxpayer and Identity Information

When you open a seller store, our payment processor collects identity information directly from you, including your legal name, address, and date of birth, and, for United States sellers, taxpayer information including your taxpayer identification number (such as a Social Security number or Employer Identification Number). This information is entered into forms served by the payment processor and is transmitted directly to them. We never receive, see, or store your Social Security number or other taxpayer identification number on our systems.

The payment processor uses this information to verify your identity, to satisfy legal and regulatory requirements, and to prepare and file tax information returns (such as IRS Form 1099-K) with federal and state tax authorities on our behalf where the law requires it. Copies of tax forms provided to you display only the last four digits of your taxpayer identification number. The payment processor’s handling of your information is governed by its own privacy policy, which is presented to you within its forms.

7 Signing In with Google

You can create an account or sign in to Travel Advisor Marketplace using "Sign in with Google." If you choose to, Google shares a limited set of profile information with us — your name, email address, and your Google account identifier — which we use solely to create, identify, and secure your account. We do not receive or store your Google password.

Your use of Sign in with Google is also governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. You can review or revoke our access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page. Revoking access does not delete the account you created with us; to delete your Travel Advisor Marketplace account and its associated data, use your account settings or contact us using the details below.

8 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and pixels) to:

• Keep you signed in and maintain secure sessions;
• Remember your preferences and settings;
• Analyze website traffic and understand how the platform is used;
• Improve performance and the overall user experience;
• Support core marketplace functionality.

Information you choose to make public — for example, in a storefront, listing, or review — may be visible to other users and to the public, and may be indexed by search engines. Please use care when deciding what to share publicly, and avoid including sensitive personal information in content you publish.

11 Data Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for notifying us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

12 Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as it is reasonably necessary to:

• Provide our services and maintain your account;
• Maintain transaction, financial, and tax records;
• Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements;

13 Children’s Privacy

Travel Advisor Marketplace is intended for individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years old, and the platform is not directed to children.
